Kathleen McHugh is a Pacific Northwest based painter who was awarded her BFA in Painting from the Cornish Institute in 1982. Her work has been selected for juried shows nationally, internationally and also a wide range of artist curated events around the world. Humanistic themes provide the inspiration for her work. Her images are visual allegories about identity and relationship. She believes that the arts are vital to the human spirit and create bonds of understanding among people that can't be achieved in any other way.
